Celebrate Lent - Day 31

Today’s Scripture:    Psalm 86:11-13

“Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your Truth; unite my heart to fear Your name. I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore. For great is Your mercy toward me, and You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.”

How Can I Say Thanks?

No kidding!  I cannot thank Jesus enough.  When I was saved, He showed me such great and wonderful things; new baby Elizabeth, new First Church of God, new life, new hope, new joy.    The only reason I can think of is that he just loved me amazingly.  All I had to do was take the first step – and He walked me forward.

‘Grateful’ is such a small word in itself that all I can do is say it over and over again, hoping it will sound bigger, occasionally alternating it with ‘thankful’.  I want to learn His ways, walk in His truth, praise and glorify His name – to somehow show my thankfulness to the one “who delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.”

O, Lord –
Thank you doesn’t seem like enough
So I give You my life – make it Yours.
